A vacuum former is a special piece a machinery found in a workshop. It is used to shape plastic. We will be using it to make a cover for your electronics project. The plastic will be molded around a piece of wood the exact size of your circuit board. It will fit over the circuit board and some tape can be used to secure it in place.

The process of vacuum forming looks like this - the mold must has a 3 degree or more slope so that it can easily be taken out of the mold.
