The electronics project will be based on designs made by Dennis Burchill in 1997. There are two designs that can be adapted as you would like. The project may be attempted in small groups of 2-3 if you choose so.
The first idea is that of a 'Voltmeter'; a device to measure the voltage of a battery. It will utilise LEDs to indicate what the voltage is. In it's current form it will measure voltage from 2 - 12V.
The second idea is a 'Continuity tester or Moisture meter'; if it's used as a continuity tester it can be turned into a game but it could also be used as a moisture meter and used to keep a plant properly watered.

The Planning Booklet for the Electronics Project
The planning booklet needs to be completed to show that you and your group have done the necessary thinking to complete the project. There will be some presentations of additional equipment and materials that can be used to help with the completion of the project.
